Alex Pereira started his combat sports career as a Muay Thai fighter and quickly made a name for himself by winning several national and international titles. He began training in Muay Thai at the age of 12 and had his first fight at the age of 15.

As a young fighter, Pereira quickly demonstrated his skill and determination, winning several titles in Brazil and competing in international tournaments. He won his first Brazilian Muay Thai Championship at the age of 18 and went on to win multiple titles in other countries such as Argentina, Italy, and Thailand.
